We're perfect for...

  • The shy kid.
  • The kid who hasn't found their sport yet.
  • The kid who needs confidence.
  • The kid who could use more friends.
  • The kid who's nervous about walking onto the mat.

And we want to watch what happens when that same kid realizes six months later: I can do hard things.

Built for Homeschool Families

UJJC is especially well suited for homeschool families looking for healthy peer relationships, physical activity, mentorship, and a consistent community.

Competition

Kids who enjoy competition are welcome to compete. But competition is an opportunity — not the identity of our children's program. A child's tournament record will never matter more than their character.

Children Are Not Miniature Professional Athletes.

Youth instruction is age-appropriate, supervised, and centered on learning, confidence, safety, and fun.

Children are never shamed for tapping, crying, feeling nervous, needing a break, not understanding something, losing, or struggling with a technique.

Adults will not use physical punishment, degrading exercise, humiliation, or fear as coaching tools.

Bullying, humiliation, hazing, intimidation, and favoritism have no place in our children's program.

Parents should feel as good about the people teaching their child as they do about the Jiu Jitsu being taught.

For Parents
